On May 22, 2011 at 5:41 pm an EF5 tornado cut a path through Joplin a mile wide killing 160 people. By 7:00 pm i was on our Cat 416C backhoe helping push power poles and trees out of streets for emergency personal. It was a long night on the Cat backhoe, I was able to break power poles in half and clear the way. Since that night we have use all of our Cat equipment to build back many buildings in my home town. Please come to Joplin and see the rebuilding. Thank you Cat.
